Bounds Green

Bounds Green is located to the north-east of Muswell Hill and is flanked to its northern boundary by the A406 (North Circular Road). Bounds Green tube station is 12 stops from Leicester Square on the Piccadilly Line; a fact that inspired the title of the debut album by the currently popular band The Feeling – 12 Stops and Home. Some members of the group, including singer Dan Gillespie, grew up in Bounds Green. The area has benefitted in recent years from its proximity to the well regarded area of Muswell Hill. Many of Bounds Green’s 1930s built houses are generously proportioned and offer good value in comparison to its better known neighbour. There are a few shops positioned around the station but for a more varied selection The Mall shopping centre in Wood Green is Just over a mile away at the other end of Bounds Green Road.
