The client instructed Peter Barry in the second week of March and the inspection was duly arranged for Friday 20th. Then came Boris Johnson’s announcement that the Country should enter lockdown on Monday 16th.

It was naturally questioned by the client whether the work could continue but with some further investigation, it was concluded that it would not be too complicated for the client to draw his own floorplan. We were very impressed with the result:

It is in the minority of circumstances where we would require this level of input from a client but armed with a plan of this quality, we provided a comprehensive report confirming the amount premium to be paid to the freeholder along with a recommended figure for the S42 notice and an estimate of the S45 counter notice figure.

 

 

We worked with Peter Barry Surveyors on the renovation of our house which had 4 party wall notices. I found them to be professional and responsive and would work with them again

The project is bit delayed but in general very good communication and service.
