Residential Surveyor covering South West London and Surrey: Consultancy and Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leading independent residential surveying practice. Our residential surveyors work exclusively on privately instructed survey work, with no mortgage valuations or lender-tied surveys. We operate throughout London and the home counties.

Due to growing demand and having expanded into a new office in Guildford, we are seeking motivated residential surveyors to join the team. For the right candidate, we are open to offering a full—or part-time permanent role or partnering on a fee-sharing consultancy basis.

The Role:
As a Residential Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting a range of property surveys, including:

  • RICS Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
  • Specific Defect Reports
  • Market valuations

We work across the full range of residential properties, including the high end London market.

Our focus is on quality not quantity, with sensible turnaround times.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in RICS Level 2 and 3 Home Surveys for residential property
  • AssocRICS / RICS qualified

Your Experience:

  • At least two years’ post-qualification experience in residential surveying
  • Proficient in Level 2 and 3 residential surveys for private clients

We run a flexible working environment, allowing work from a home base with office attendance fortnightly. The role includes support from a dedicated individual administrative team member support, together with access to tablet technology and/or dictation-transcription, Rightmove SCT, Sprift and BCIS reinstatement subscription, together with good quality equipment, including drones.

We offer a competitive basic salary, a generous bonus scheme directly tied to fee income and a compressed hours working to supplement annual holiday allowance.
