We know how scary it can be to buy a property, whether you’re buying your first property in Weybridge or moving to a larger place, there’s no substitute for the peace of mind provided by a detailed report prepared by one of our experienced Chartered Surveyors. We offer RICS Level 2 & 3 surveys and are waiting to discuss which is best for you.
After moving in to your new Weybridge property, we hope you’ll come back to us whether you require advice on extending a lease, are planning to extend and require assistance with party wall matters or need an experienced surveyor to manage the project for you.
All of our senior surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors. In addition, the practice is regulated by the RICS so you can be sure that we adhere to the highest standards within the industry.
The owner of a mid-terrace Edwardian property just to the north of the High Street in Weybridge recently put in for planning permission for a loft conversion and wanted some advice on party wall procedures before approaching their neighbours.
Our Assistant Surveyor David Brazier talked the building owners through the process and advised them to speak with their neighbours as soon as possible to make them aware of the proposed work. In our experience, the outcome is invariably better if affected neighbours are informed of proposed works as soon as possible.
The early approach ensured that the neighbour was fully onboard with the proposed works and, upon receiving the formal party wall notice, were happy to consent subject to David preparing a schedule of condition covering the parts of their property at risk from the proposed works. Having a detailed written schedule of condition in place makes it easier to identify damage and helps to avoid disputes arising either during or following the works.

Weybridge, a quaint town nestled in the county of Surrey, exudes a charm that is distinctly its own. Situated between the neighbouring areas of Staines and Hampton, Weybridge finds itself in the heart of a picturesque region while still being well connected.
The town is well-served by an efficient network of roads and is conveniently located near major motorways, allowing for easy access to London and other parts of the country. Additionally, Weybridge is served by its own railway station, ensuring seamless travel for residents.
Weybridge is adorned with numerous significant buildings and landmarks. The grand facade of Brooklands Museum, a former motor racing circuit and now an aviation and motorsport museum, stands as a testament to the town’s rich history. Charming Georgian and Victorian architecture adorns the town centre, blending seamlessly with modern developments.
The area was home to Beatle John Lennon for a large chunk of the sixties while he was working on some of the band’s best known albums including Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Lennon and then wife Cynthia purchased ‘Kenwood’ in St George’s Hill in 1964 and remained there for 4 years.
