One of our specialist lease extension valuation surveyors, Steve Hobbs, recently carried out a lease extension valuation for a purpose-built flat on the Tulse Hill Estate. The estate comprises a series of local authority type blocks of flats, one of which was formerly home to a young Ken Livingstone!
Many of the flats have been sold to residents under the Right to Buy legislation with 125 years leases running from 1984, which now have under 90 years left to run. The shorter the lease gets the more expensive it becomes to extend, so now is a good time for residents to consider renewing their leases.
Steve provided the client with a full valuation report, including an estimated premium alongside best and worst case scenarios. The client was pleased with the service, commenting; ‘Quick and helpful service with a lease extension valuation’.READ THE FULL REVIEW
