Shaun Blake

BSc (Hons) MRICS

Shaun is an experienced chartered surveyor (BSc (Hons) MRICS) known for clear diagnostics and decisive, plain‑English advice on technically demanding residential instructions in Central London. His core focus is RICS Level 3 (Building Survey) reports on high‑value and complex assets—mansion blocks, period conversions, mews properties and larger townhouses—where construction nuance, historic fabric and services integration demand thorough investigation and balanced, risk‑based recommendations.

Alongside survey work, Shaun leads project management for block maintenance and repair—from defect diagnosis and scope definition through specification, procurement and contractor selection, to contract administration, site quality control and handover. He has a particular specialism in fire‑damage reinstatement, coordinating strip‑out and drying phases, smoke/soot decontamination and full internal and envelope reinstatement, while aligning stakeholders such as freeholders, managing agents, loss adjusters and insurers.

With a pragmatic, programme‑aware approach, Shaun keeps projects moving, protects client budgets, and documents decisions so outcomes are transparent, defensible and compliant.

Outside of work he spends most of his energy with his young family, but when he finds time, his interests include live music and playing bass guitar in a band.

The RICS Level 2 home survey report was written by David Breeze and it was complete, concise and very helpful. David also talked us through aspects of the survey that were important and we were really pleased that he and the company were recommended to us.
Great experience, comprehensive repost, clear communication and all round an excellent and professional service
The survey was thorough and clearly a Level 3 — the level of detail on individual items was genuinely useful and has directly informed the specialist inspections that would need to be commissioned. The condition ratings were clear and the cost estimates were useful.
Instructed to conduct a desktop valuation of my flat, all correspondence was swift and the report was received promptly. Would reccomend.
