We have a team of highly experienced party wall surveyors ready to advise if you’re planning works falling within the scope of the Act to your Wanstead property. The process starts with the party planning to undertake works notifying any affected owners.
We can prepare the necessary party wall notices for a nominal fee. In our experience, adjoining owners receiving a notice that has been professionally prepared by a specialist surveyor are more likely to consent or, if they have concerns, concur in the agreement of a single surveyor. Having a single agreed surveyor is the quickest and most cost-effective option where a dispute has arisen.
Below you will find links to the hundreds of positive reviews we’ve received from both building owners and adjoining owners in and around Wanstead and, so you can be sure you’re in the best possible hands, the company is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The George Pub on the High Street in Wanstead is the starting point for those looking to solve the mystery of the cherry pie. To the side of the pub is a plaque ‘In Memory of Ye Cherry Pey …’ which is either a warning to would be thieves or commemorates a feast which included a huge pie depending upon which local legend you prefer. These days the venue is a rather more prosaic Wetherspoons.
Wanstead is part of the borough of Redbridge in East London just above Forest Gate and below South Woodford. Despite having no prior links with the area, former Prime Minister Winston Churchill represented the people of Wanstead as their MP for 40 years. He is commemorated by a bust on Wanstead High Street.
Transport links in the area include Wanstead Central Line Underground Station with a journey time to Central London of around 30 minutes. The other station with Wanstead in the title, Wanstead Park, is actually located on the far side of Wanstead Flats in Forest Gate and forms part of the London Overground.
